Using the sites
These terms apply to baker.games and every site under it, including churn.baker.games and spellbox.baker.games (together, "the sites"), and to the games and tools on them. By using the sites you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the sites.
The games
The games run in your browser. We may add, change, or remove features, modes, and content at any time, and we may take a game offline for maintenance or retire it. We'll try to give notice in the devlog before anything big changes.
Accounts
Accounts are optional. If you make one, you're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens on your account. Give accurate information, and don't make accounts for anyone else or to get around a ban. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy).
Fair play and conduct
Leaderboards and multiplayer rooms only work if everyone plays fair. When using the sites, don't:
- cheat, exploit bugs to manipulate leaderboards, or use bots or automated tools to play in place of you;
- use offensive, hateful, sexual, or impersonating usernames, display names, or room names;
- harass other players, or disrupt rooms on purpose;
- attack, overload, scrape, or try to break into the sites, their servers, or other players' accounts;
- click ads you don't mean to, or encourage anyone else to; this breaks the ad networks' rules and can get the sites removed from them.
We may remove names, reset scores, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. If you find a bug, especially one that affects security or leaderboards, please report it instead of using it.
Ownership
The games, their code, art, sound, the Baker Games name, and the Loaf mascot belong to Baker Games, except for third-party material that's credited where it's used, such as licensed music. You may stream, record, and share videos and screenshots of the games, including on monetized channels. A link back to the game is appreciated but not required. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the games or their assets, or host copies of them elsewhere.
Some projects, such as Claude Monitor, are released as open source under their own licenses, and those licenses apply to them.
Ads and links
The sites may show ads from Google and link to other websites. We don't control third-party sites or ads and aren't responsible for their content, offers, or practices. Don't take an ad as our endorsement.
Disclaimer
The sites and games are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Games are works in progress: they may have bugs, lose progress, or be unavailable at times. We don't guarantee that saves, scores, or leaderboard standings will be kept forever.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Baker Games won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the sites. Our total liability for any claim relating to the sites is limited to the amount you paid us, if anything, in the twelve months before the claim, or the minimum the law where you live allows.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the sites after a change, you accept the updated terms.
